The Purple Band (Non-Varsity) received a 2 on stage and a 3 in sightreading. Congratulations to all of these students! In addition to these successes, the GHS WildCat Band has earned many accomplishments this year. In October, the Marching band earned a rating of Excellent, receiving scores of 2-1-2 at the Region 7 Marching Festival. Twelve members of the Band made the All-District Honor Band, and six students made the Region 7 All-Region Band. One student, Stephen Jusko, made the All-State Symphonic Band (the top band) on tuba, and also earned first chair in the All-Region Symphonic Band.
