Godley High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America members are very busy this year. Our membership drive was very successful and we now have 17 members. We have participated in the Komen Race for the Cure for Breast Cancer, sponsored Wildcats for the Cure, selling T-shirts and other items, to raise $1321.00 donated to Komen, sold lollipops and butter braids. We prepared and delivered meals to Senior citizens in November, and competed at Region II STAR event contest on February 5th and 6th. Two students competing in Applied Technology won 4th place and now advance to State competition April 8-10.
The members and their sponsor, Sheryl Winn, would like to thank all the members of the Godley community who have helped them in their efforts to be leaders in the school and the community.
