Oct. 8-12

Overview:  This week we will finish chapter 2 by reviewing the verb SER and learning how to tell time in Spanish.  We will test chapter 2 on Friday.  This is the 1st week of the 2nd 6-week period.

Monday – holiday

Tuesday: 

We will review the homework on the verb SER from last week, take notes on how to tell time in Spanish, then do several exercises with handheld clocks to reinforce the lecture.  I will give each student a packet on teling time and expect them to do the first two pages of written work for homework.

Wednesday:

We will finish our clock packet and do workbook listening exercises.  I will assign the last pages of the workbook as homework.

Thursday:

We will have a graded in-class skit that the students must create and perform, and review for our exam. 

Friday:

We will take our exam and then begin vocabulary for chapter 3.  Students will be assigned to make flashcards as homework.
