Overview:  This week we begin chapter 3 in the textbook – learning about clothing, colors, school supplies, shopping, numbers from 100-thousands, and conjugating –AR verbs in Spanish.  Students should finish their projects for next Monday.

Monday:

We wil take out exam for chapter 1 and fill out a worksheet with the new vocabulary.  Homework will be to create flashcards for numbers 1-38 of the vocabulary.

Tuesday:

We will practice pronunciation of the new vocabulary words.  We will do further practice out loud as a group using the “chain” technique.  Then we will take notes over conjugating –AR verbs and review pages 76 and 7.

Wednesday:

We will warm up by conjugating an AR verb, and then practice in class.  We will use the chain technique to conjugate verbs and then do a vocab exercise with an empty backpack to learn class supply vocabulary.  We will do exercises 1-3 on page 78.  Homework is pages 19-20 in the workbook.

Thursday

We will practice vocabulary 1-38 using our flashcards and then conjugate more verbs on the board.  We will do exercises 4 & 6 page 79 and then do an in-class skit where one student plays the clerk and one students plays a customer in a shop. 

Friday:

We will review vocabulary associated with colors and clothing.  Students will work on pronunciation of the vocabulary using a chain and then we will learn the colors.  Students will be given a coloring sheet as homework
