Week 11 lesson plans

Monday:  We will conjugate several new –AR verbs in our warmup, then do a chain for pronunciation practice.  We will play around-the-world to practice vocabulary and then do the activities p. 107.  Workbook pages 29 & 30 will be homework.

Tuesday:  We will do heads or tails to practice vocabulary, then a short partner activity from page H5 in the book.  Afterwards we will do the exercises on page 107-109, and exercise 5 and 6  page 110. 

Wednesday:   It will be student’s choice for vocabulary practice – flashcards with their partners or around the world.  We will then have a “magic squares” activity as our quiz, and do exercise 7 page 110.  We will then break into partners for skit creation, which is page 107 ex. 4.  Homework is page 31 & 32 in the workbook

Thursday.  We will practice vocab using a game called Matamoscas, then perform our skits.  (need to add another activity here)

Friday.  Practice using “Buzz” game with verb conjugation.    Read pages 112-113 and do both activities out loud.  P. 114 ex 12 is done out loud as well, and ex. 13 done as daily work.  Homework:  Students will write 3 questions for each verb in chapter 4.   10 pts extra credit for typing it up, and it counts double.
