Week 12 Lesson plans

Monday:

We will work in partner groups.  Exercise 14 – written out questions and answers, must include leser-used words such as algunos, otros, etc.  We will progress to exercise 15.  two sentences about each picture, again using lesser-practiced words. 

Video on Dar and –ir.  There will be a worksheet on –IR given as homework

Tuesday:

Today is correction day.  We will look at several examples of  student work from the weekend and from our last exam and correct them.  We will take notes on the verb estar.   Workbook pages 33 and 34 are homework.   We will do a chain with the question “adonde vas?”

Wednesday.

I am out of class for Jury duty today.   The students will do listening activities from the workbook pages A-15-A18,  and then do workbook pages 35 and 36.

Thursday

We will practice our vocabulary.  We will learn how to use the verb estar.  We will take notes and do several worksheets that reinforce the structure of the verb.  We will do activities 19 and 20 in the textbook,.  We will takes notes over the personal A and do a short worksheet that uses them.  We will do exercise 21 in the textbook. 

Friday: 

We will practice our vocabulary and the exercises in the book page 119 and 120.  We will watch a short review video over the verbs SER and ESTAR.
