Monday:
We will begin class by reviewing vocabulary from chapter 6. We will then do a short worksheet on the verb tener – the major verb used in the chapter. We will finish by doing the exercises on page 180 – 17 and 18.
Tuesday:
We will review our vocabulary with a 3-partner competition. We will read and do the exercises on p. 181 – the near future tense. We will finish class with a worksheet on the near future tense.
Wednesday:
We will conduct class nearly 100% in Spanish. I will ask several students questions from page 182 with books closed. We will go around the room answering and asking questions of each other using the exercises from page 182. Then the students will pair up and speak in Spanish only to their partner about what they’re going to do and have to do over the next several days, followed up with a Q&A session with me.
Thursday:
We will learn the plural possessive pronouns, and review the singular possessives by working through a powerpoint instruction/Q&A. This will be followed by exercises pages 183-184. Workbook pages 64 and 65 will be assigned.
Friday:
I will show a podcast review of possessive adjectives. We will then take a grammar quiz covering chapter 6, and the students will be given unique situation cards. The students will read about their particular situation and will write a response.
