Supplies

  1. College-ruled notebook paper
  2. 3 One Subject Spiral notebooks
  3. 2 Folders with brads
  4. Blue or black ink pens and pencils
  5. 3 ring binder to keep notes in

 

Grades and Grading Procedures

40% of grade: minor grades (daily assignments, quizzes, homework, participation, etc)

60% of grade: major grades (tests, projects, major writing assignments, etc)

 

Makeup Work

-Students have 2 days per missed to make up daily assignments and homework.

-It is the student’s responsibility to ask for missed assignments. Assignments will be posted on    my website.

 -Major grades must be made up within 5 days of the students return to school.

-Late work will be accepted up to ONE DAY ONLY.  There will be a 15 point penalty for ALL late work.

-Major assignments that are late will receive a 25 point penalty

 

Classroom Rules

-Be on time

-Bring all materials to class

-Show respect to others at all times

-Listen and follow directions the first time they are given

-Do not speak while others are speaking

-Follow Godley ISD rules at all times

Classroom Procedures

-Be in your seat when the bell rings

-Check the board and start your in class assignment

-Remain in your seat until you are dismissed.  I dismiss you, not the bell.

-Turn in homework at the beginning of class in the appropriate box
