Matter and Its Properties

 

1.  Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space.

 

2.  Physical properties of an object are the things that you can observe or measure without changing it into something else.

3.  Mass is the measurement of the matter in an object.

 

4.  Weight is the measure of the pull of gravity.

 

5.  Volume is the amount of space an object takes up.

 

Volume Formula:  Volume = Length x Width x Height
