Earth Science Notes 1

Landforms are physical features on the surface of the Earth.  They are always changing.

Weathering is breaking big rocks into smaller rocks, soil, sand, and other tiny parts called sediment.

Erosion is moving sediment from one place to another.

Deposition is depositing sediment in a new location.

Mass Movement is the downhill movement of rock and soil due to gravity.
