My name is Laura Johnson.  This is my 7th year to teach.  I have tought Pre-K in Jefferson City, Missouri, 1st and 2nd grade in Houston, Texas, 5th grade in Lometa, Texas, and am going on my 2nd year teaching in Godley.  In addition to teaching in a classroom, I have been the district ESL coordinator in Lometa, Texas.  Last year I taught 3rd grade and have moved up to 4th with the same group for the 2006-2007 school year.  

This is my family.  As you can see, we have 3 children and live in Granbury.  We have just purchased a new home and are very excited about settling down.  We love to garden,travel, fish, camp, gather with our family and friends, and water ski.  If you look in the far background, you can see the beginnings of our new garden.  We are also looking forward to landscaping our new yard.  In addition to all of these things, I love to decorate.
