ESL

This is my 15th year with Godley ISD. I taught PPCD at the Elementary for 5 years and then moved to the Middle School campus as a Family Consumer Science teacher for 3 years and then I served as the Content Mastery teacher for 4 years. My oofice can be found in the administration offices which are now located in the old Godley School building.
I am currently serving as ESL Director for the District as well as working as Homeless Liaison and Title I Parent Involvement Liaison.
I have 2 children who bring much joy to my life. My daughter graduated in 2008 from Godley High School and is currently attending the University of North Texas majoring in Elementary Education. My son is also attending Godley High School and enjoys playing in the band.
I enjoy being with my family and friends, traveling, and shopping.
What is ESL?
English as a Second language (ESL) is designed to provide English Language instruction by teachers trained in recognizing and working with language differences. It provides instruction in listening, speaking, reading, writing and comprehending the English language. The ESL program helps develop competence in English and to assist students in being successful in academic areas.
