ESL

This is my 13th year with Godley ISD. I taught PPCD at the Elementary for 5 years and then moved to the Middle School campus as a Family Consumer Science teacher for 3 years and then I served as the Content Mastery teacher for 4 years. I am currently located on the intermediate campus and serving as the ESL Coordinator for the district.
I have 2 children who attend Godley schools. My daughter attends Godley High School and is a member of the Godley Gold Dusters DanceTeam and FFA. She enjoys being a part of the dance team as well as showing goats with FFA. My son is also attending Godley High School and enjoys playing in the band.
I enjoy being with my family and friends, traveling, and shopping.
What is ESL?
English as a Second language (ESL) is designed to provide English Language instruction by teachers trained in recognizing and working with language differences. It provides instruction in listening, speaking, reading, writing and comprehending the English language. The ESL program helps develop competence in English and to assist students in being successful in academic areas.
