My name is Laurel Bartlett, and I am thrilled to be in Godley this year! I was here during the 2005-2006 school year completing my student teaching. I had a wonderful experience at GMS, and I am so glad to have the opportunity to be a part of this district.
I attended Joshua ISD for my entire public school education. Upon graduation I went to Texas Wesleyan University. I then transferred to Arlington Baptist College, a very small private college, where I played volleyball and basketball. I married my husband Scott in 1998, and returned to college to finish my degree in Education. We have one son, Kolby. He will be starting Pre-K at the Elementary this year. We found out in November that we will be having another child this summer. We are very excited!
I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, fishing, playing volleyball and basketball, and reading.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful year in Godley.
