As I begin my eleventh year of teaching and my third at Godley Middle School, I look forward to another exciting year with our students. After 25 years of living in Fort Worth, my husband, Tom and I are happily settled into rural life nearby in Tarrant County. Our family includes two sons, their beautiful wives and two grandbabies. We are blessed that they all live in Fort Worth. We love to travel, cook, garden, read and explore our new neighborhood on foot.
My goals for students are to strenghen their reading skills by providing them with a rich assortment of reading material to challenge and interest them. I hope they will learn to regard reading as a wonderful way to spend free time and learn more about our world. Parents, providing time and opportunities for reading at home is invaluable and encouraged!
