Seth Coleman and Sydney Canas were crowned this year’s Godley High School 2017 homecoming king and queen on Friday, September 22nd during halftime. Both of these students are from the special-needs self-contained class. Both of these amazing students have attended Godley Schools since Pre-Kindergarten, and they have touched the heart of many here at GHS.
This year’s homecoming court members were announced at the pep rally on Friday, September 1st. The students went wild when they heard that Seth and Sydney were been nominated to be king and queen this year. The other senior court members were excited to be on the court with these two awesome kiddos!
Sydney Canas is the granddaughter of the late Gary Shaver and Kathy Shaver and daughter of Robin Stewart. She was escorted by her Uncle Jerry Ballard. She is a 3-year member of Varsity Cheer, and she loves to shop and eat pizza in her spare time. After graduation, she plans to conquer the world.
Seth Coleman is the son of Scott and Mary Coleman. He was escorted by his mother. In his spare time, Seth loves to draw and socialize with his friends. After graduation, he wants to become a comic illustrator.
